Video Log
This dialog displays all recorded video files in a list. The files are are named by the date and time
at which they were recorded.
Selecting different videos in the Recorded Videos list will display them on the left in the Display
window.
The Display window has controls beneath it that allow you to Play, Pause, and Stop
the video. You can advance the video frame by frame by pausing it and then clicking either the << or >> buttons.
You can drag the slider bar forward or backwards to quickly get to a desired location in the video.
You can also display the video in an external viewer that has the ability to increase its playback size.
Video files that reside on the hard drive can be deleted manually or automatically.
To manually delete one or more videos at a time, select an event in the Recorded Videos list
with the mouse and then click the delete button. If you are unsure that you deleted the correct
video, you can click the Cancel button and re-open the dialog and start over. After you are finished,
clicking the OK button will permanently remove them from the hard drive.
Automatic deletion of video event files occurs every time the program starts if the Use Auto Delete
check box is checked.
There are three options for this:
* Delete oldest when total of all files exceeds x megabytes means that when the
total size amount of all files in the video files directory is over the numerical amount
entered, the oldest files will be deleted until the total size of all files in the video
directory is less than numerical amount entered in the edit window.
* Delete if file is older than x days means that only files that have a creation date
that is older than the numerical amount of days entered will be deleted.
* Delete all files every x days means that all files, regardless of how old they are, will
be deleted at an interval of the numerical amount entered in the edit window.
Picture Log

icon on the main dialog and all pictures saved during a motion
event if it is selected on the Motion Settings
tab.
Selecting different pictures in the Saved Pictures list window on the right will display them in the Display window on the left.
The pictures are displayed in order from most recent to oldest and top to bottom respectively.
To delete a picture, select it with the mouse and click the Delete Selected button.
To e-mail a picture, select it and click the Email Selected button.
Automatic deletion of picture files occurs every time the program starts if the Use Auto Delete
check box is checked. See Video Log instructions for using this feature.

* Day - Days of the week the action will run
* Start - The time the action should start
* End - The time the action should stop
* Event - The type of action to perform
* Active - Whether or not the action should be done as scheduled
Rows can be added or deleted using the Add Row button and Delete Row button.

Ports Explained
Ports can be thought of as doors on your computer allowing access to and from the internet for software programs to use.
They are numbered from 0 - 65535. INetAlertView uses two of these ports to send and receive information
between the two programs INAV Home and INAV Remote. If you have a router you will have to make sure these ports are open
and incoming requests are "forwarded" to the computer that INAV Home is installed on. Look for the
"port forwarding" information in your router manual.
The diagram below illustrates how to set up "port forwarding" on a LinkSys router using the router software. This opens the port
numbers 7777 and 8080 for INetAlertView to communicate back and forth over the internet between the two programs
(INAV Home and INAV Remote).
The diagram below shows the "port forwarding" settings on a D-Link router.
Always On Top
This setting is turned on and off by selecting it on the menu. If it is checked, INAV Home will always be displayed
on top of other windows that may be open on your computer. If it is not checked it can go behind other windows.
Hide Main Dialog When Minimized
The main dialog will no longer be shown when minimize is selected.
The
will be displayed in the system tray on the lower right hand side of the screen.
Right clicking this icon will display the menu below.
